Sri A.M. Gopalan, popularly known as Gokulam Gopalan is a devout and faithful man who has achieved success through his hard work, dedication, and perseverance. He inherited the knowledge of chit fund business from his father at a young age and founded Sree Gokulam Chit and Finance Co. Pvt. Ltd. in 1968 in Mylapore, Chennai. He began the business with a small capital and a vision to offer financial support to the common people. And from a witty financial plan emerged Sree Gokulam Group, an empire which conquered indeed.

Currently, his chit fund and finance company, Sree Gokulam Chit Funds and Finance Private Limited, is around 55 years old. This Fifty Five Years old company started in Chennai, and has as many as 480 branches across the country. The company grew rapidly and expanded its operations across India and abroad. Today, it is one of the largest chit fund companies in India with a group turnover of more than 7000 crore rupees.

He believes that honesty and integrity are the keys to success and has followed his principles for over six decades.

He has earned the reputation of running the best Chit Company in India in terms of promptness and customer satisfaction. His schemes have attracted a large number of customers and the company has more than One crore happy customers as its true asset. He has gained the trust and affection of the people.

From Chit Fund Company he gradually expanded his empire to include hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, cinemas, television channels and magazines.

He is also a generous philanthropist who has donated too many noble causes. He has initiated CSR programs that provide free medical care and food at medical colleges, education for low-income people, and other projects.

He was born in Vadakara, Kerala and grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He pursued his education at Asan Memorial School & SRM Nightingale, where he acquired a solid foundation for his future endeavors. He completed his Graduation in Business Administration at a renowned UK institution, where he acquired and refined his expertise and insights in the domain.

Mr. Baiju Gopalan is known for his visionary and innovative approach to business. Under his leadership, the company expanded its network across India and became one of the leading players in the chit fund industry. He also spearheaded the diversification of the group into other sectors, such as hospitality, healthcare, education, real estate, and media. He has been instrumental in establishing several successful ventures, such as Sree Gokulam Hotels and Resorts, Sree Gokulam Motors, a Tata Cars Showroom. He is the Director, Sree Gokulam Motors and Services Pvt Ltd, Gokulam Hotels India Pvt Ltd, Sree Gokulam Foods & Beverages Pvt Ltd Managing Partner, Sree Gokulam Offset Printing And Enterprises & Co-Producer of Sree Gokulam Movies. He is a Trustee of Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation, Trivandrum and Sree Gokulam Hospitals.

He is the Global President of Indian World Wide Chamber of Commerce, a platform for promoting trade and investment among Indian Diaspora. He is one of the founding members and the current President of the Indian World Wide Chamber of Commerce an initiative of the World Malayalee Council. He is also one of the trustees of the Foundation of Non-resident Indians, a charitable organization for supporting the welfare of Indians living abroad.

He played a key role in organizing the centenary celebrations of the Vaikom Satyagraha, a historic event organized by SNDP that challenged the caste system and demanded equal rights for all. He served as the Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee. He is the President of the Sree Narayana Guru Educational Trust which runs several educational and charitable institutions in the state.

Mr. Baiju Gopalan is a firm believer in corporate social responsibility and philanthropy. He has initiated several social welfare projects through the Sree Gokulam Foundation, which focuses on education, health, environment, and culture. He has also contributed generously to various causes, such as disaster relief, women empowerment, sports promotion, and cultural preservation. He has received several awards and accolades for his outstanding achievements and contributions to society.

As the Global President of the World Malayalaee Council, he has been leading the organization with vision and dedication. He has also served as the Global Chairman and General Secretary of the WMC, where he initiated several projects and programs for the welfare of the Malayalaee community. He is a respected and influential figure in the global Malayalaee diaspora.

He is also a generous philanthropist who supports many social causes and initiatives. He has organized and sponsored many events and programs to raise funds for various causes, such as ‘Hridayaragam’ with the support of the Malayalam Film Industry, a pediatric heart surgery camp in 2006 that gave a new lease of life to more than 200 children suffering from heart ailments

He is a committee member of Narayana Mission, Chennai, a charitable organization that provides free education and medical care to the needy.

Mr. V C Praveen is an avid sports enthusiast and football player who generously sponsors sports in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. He is currently the President of Gokulam Kerala FC, a professional football club based in Kozhikode, Kerala

He has been honored with several awards and recognitions for his contributions to the business and social sectors, such as the ‘Business Enabler 2018’ award in the VPN IBE Award 2018 and the Unique Times Excellence for Sports Business Visionary Award for his role in founding Gokulam Kerala FC.

He is a compassionate and humble person who extends help in all possible means to the weaker sections of society in the fields of medicine and education.

He is a member of various business associations and forums. Mr. V.C. Praveen has been elected as the President of the All India Association of Chit Funds, the apex body of the chit fund industry in India. He has been instrumental in bringing reforms and regulations to the sector and enhancing its credibility and transparency.
